Rememberance
Cardiff City FC played Brighton & Hove Albion at Cardiff City Stadium which kicked off at 12.30pm as The Premier League match was on Sky TV.
Just before kick-off there The Last Post was played on trumpet followed by a minutes silence to mark 100 years since the end of The First World War on 11 November 1918. Over 16 million people died (worldwide) in World War 1, including about 10 million military personnel and about 7 million civilians!!
The blipfoto shows the trumpet tribute to the fallen.
Cardiff went a goal down after 6 minutes. Brighton had a player sent off about 30 minutes. Cardiff didn't play at all well but scored the winning goal in the last minute to clinch a much needed 2-1 win.
