Raindrops
I do like a good quote. You know, when someone says something that contains not just a truth about a situation but a grain of humour as well.
Like Benjamin Franklin's line that "“We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.” You just put that under a picture of Donald Trump and we have a prime example of what I mean.
This led me off down the rabbit hole, where I discovered such gems as "Hydrogen and stupidity are the two most abundant materials in the universe." Which was coined either by the Author Harlan Elllison* or the musician Frank Zappa.
All of which nonsense led me to this:- "Each morning when I open my eyes, I say to myself; “I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.”
Not Oscar, as is so often the case, but Marx, Groucho.
*No, me neither.
