Harvest Time!

It’s great to grow all these things but sometimes it’s a bit overwhelming knowing how to make the best use of the harvest! I hate to waste anything! But today I had to harvest all my basil because a frost is coming tonight, so...endless basil! I dehydrated a lot so we have dried basil to use throughout the winter, Then I gave a load away to people. And we also made lots of Pesto, some of which is in the freezer and some we will use fresh. There are still some fresh leaves to use in a Capresse salad as well.
