Eye eye

A sore eye since Wednesday, and I decided to skip the "It'll sort itself out in a day or two" method of management in favour of professional help. I called in to see the Optician and she packed me straight off to A&E. That had me a bit worried! Fortunately, it's not quite as bad as I'd imagined - a bacterial infection which should clear up in a few days, providing that I use the antibiotic cream that I was prescribed by the A&E Doctor. I can still drive and just have to lay off the contact lenses until it settles. I hate wearing glasses, but I'm relieved that it's going to be ok :-)
