Nice to see you...

Lots of lovely get togethers today.
Started with Gill coming to pick me up just after midday to go out for lunch. She came in to say hello to Alan, who of course was over the moon to see her.
We ended up in a lovely restaurant north of Perth that I'd never been to before. Great food and atmosphere so I will definitely be back. We had lots to catch up on and as ever with Gill, there was lots of laughter.
Once home again it wasn't long before it was time to get ready for us all to head off to the annual Craighalbert Christmas Shopping Night. We have such fond memories of the Centre both as Alan's school from age 8 months to 6 years old and our place of employment, David for 7 years and me for 13. In fact whenever I go back there, I feel as though I've never been away and should be walking into my old office and getting on with some work!
There was a great turn out and we got to see lot of old friends. Of course the first stall I went to was selling Christmas decorations (David just rolled his eyes :-) and Alan and Jordan disappeared and returned with a small inflatable Elf (thankfully not as big as his Santa!)
Once we'd done the round of the stalls we headed to the refreshments and caught up with two more old friends who were serving Prosecco and cakes. Jordan offered to drive home so D enjoyed a glass of fizz. Alan was particularly happy to see BA. He adored her when he was at Craighalbert as she reminded him of his first love, Tess Daly.
Once the raffle was drawn the evening was over and we bid our farewells but before heading home we made the short detour to our old street as Alan wanted to see our old house. The perfect end to the day as far as he was concerned.
