Point Lobos State Park

The Knitter/Walkers took a little field trip this morning about an hour south of town--Point Lobos is one of the most beautiful and varied landscapes around here. We stuck to the ocean trails on this lovely day; everything smelling so good. I surprised myself by doing well on the walk (there's always a footnote these days--the vertigo sitting on my shoulder, whispering like a bad angel). If you look closely at the arch, you might see pelicans hanging around. They were all over the rocks--we are on the trail to Bird Island after all.
