Better than expected

We had a lovely mini blip meet with DavidC and Rockarea this morning. We heard all about their week at LPH and then we showed them where the Square Orange cafe is, and went up to take some photos of the Keswick poppy display.
The forecast torrential rain and destructive winds didn't really materialise so we caught a bus up to Lodore and crossed over the Lake to walk back down the west side of Derwentwater, where I took this in some...... challenging light!
Seeing David Rockarea again at the pub later.
