Henny

This is a neighbour's hen which I have been looking after for the last three weeks.  She might not look a beauty, but she's a heck of a lot better than she was when they went away.  She has been through a full moult - she was just about bald and looked as if she had been plucked.  Now she has a lot of new feathers and plenty more just emerging from their quills.  

I once entertained hopes of Bonny the Bantam and her becoming friends, but both of them are too set in their ways to put up with each other!
