No let up in the pace for the pre birthday shenanigans; after breakfast it was onto a 19 for a jaunt to the City Art Centre; they were doing settlement building. I had hoped for allotment structure type creation but it was more child friendly and aimed at cardboard boxes, egg cartons, washing up liquid bottles and sticky backed plastic. 

Still, an enjoyable 90 mins of crafty nonsense that someone else had to clear up after we'd left to go to the Kweilin at Potterow; to meet G and her 2 mates in what was nominally a birthday get together. Sadly her bahviour hasn't changed that much since Alex's last birthday, so it was with some relief the young team went back outside and onto their phones; we followed at a discreet distance and once they'd left had an hour of messing about at hers before heading home. 

A quiet early evening (Sportscene to rewatch yet more of the Hibs v Saintees highlight(s) on BBC) and a sneaky wee pork / chilli / ginger / coriander / lime burger wrap before baths, last minute panic homework doing and beds beckoned. 

Leaving me to finish the wrapping (and the left over wraps) and blow up a balloon or two ahead of Remember Remember the 5th of November, Gunpowder Treason and Alex's birthday.
