Interesting

I used to throw seed out of my lawn but all I got coming to eat it were sparrows and finches. So I started throwing out random foodstuff, today's offering was stale cheese and bacon bread. It brought in plenty of birds so I took a lot of photos.

But this starling interested me. I see he's up to his eyes in pollen, which suggests he's had his beak in flowers. I assume therefore that he's been feeding on nectar. I didn't know starlings did that!
