Stack Permit

Went into the stacks located in the basement of the main library, for the first time in ages, to collect books to checkout. Our university is one of the oldest in Japan (the roots of which can be traced back to around 1860; it's relatively new compared to some old British universities though), and so there are many books stored in the basement, which look quite old and are worn to rags. I was surprised the very book I wanted to get this time was one of them.

Anyone who wants to go into the stacks is supposed to get this pemit at the service desk. Blipped this while in the stacks.
