Nearly 40 years ago I bought teak furniture: Beaver Tapley. A modular sytem with floor and wall mounted shelves, units, cabinets and display cases. It followed me to London and back.

We wondered about using it in the new room. I had some concerns about fitting it to the new walls when before the mountings were drilled into solid wall.

Fortunately that issue was resolved by our daughter in Lancaster indicating that she’d be happy to take many of them were n her new (to her) house.

So this morning I bade farewell to them as they were transported south. We now have to decide what we want in the new room. More decisions.

Work was a series of meetings including a helpful briefing on progress - and challenges - on the digital programme. Lots going on and lots to do.
