Bed time can be chaos but tonight was pure delight - all the boys on the big bed for stories and then Eve persuaded both parents to indulge in some Enid Blyton. It was all going well until the tale took a decidedly old school turn and the king started spanking some brownies. I laughed so hard I seriously feared for the poor old pelvic floor.
