A Star is Born

This is the auditorium of the Regent Centre in Christchurch, Dorset (U.K.).

“One of the of the finest examples of an early 1930s cinema to survive in Britain”. And recently refurbished to bring it up to date.

I wanted to blip the interior, but then remembered it’s Abstract Thursday. So I tried shaking the iPhone while taking the photo. And then ran it throught the Prisma App.

We saw A Star is Born. Wasn’t sure what to expect apart from boredom. But it wasn’t bad at all. I even shed a few tears. And there were some good Lady Gaga songs.

Then back to see friend’s finally refurbished and furnished house before bussing home to a hot bowl of soup and bed (throat turned into a head cold today).
