The Romans Were Here

Dull and cloudy and a little cooler.

We had a drive inland this morning to Cabanes, Catellón just a 30 minutes drive away.   We had passed the town in the distance when we went to Vilafames the other week.   Alan checked the internet and found there was a Roman Archway (pictured) and as we were driving to it we could tell that tge Romans had been  as the road was of course dead straight - you can see this through the archway.

A tour around the old part of town with the Church at the top of the hill looking down on the town.   I have included a few more images in extras to give a flavour of the Town.
