A very wet and windy day today, so not much walking was done.  Had a bit of a shock this morning when I went to pay for parking in a popular place for walks up Snowdon, Pen-y-pass.  It was £10 for the day!  No option of parking for one or two hours.  Shame really as I just wanted to do a short walk along the Miners' Track.   They seem to want people to use Park and Ride a few miles away.  So had a look at that and the buses are hourly and I'd just missed one.  Wouldn't it be nice if they offered hourly parking during off peak season!  By the time I found somewhere else to walk it had started raining.
