Catching the sun

The gentle fronds of our silver birch were catching the sun and showing up brightly against the dark of the fence. I took my blip while waiting in the drive for a lift to take me to Mahjong in Guildford.. It wasn't a good session, nobody had good tiles. But it was enjoyable to get out and be amongst friends.
Lovely bright day, and the beech trees are really turning now.
