outspread on the blossoming cactus - floating backwards in shimmering wonder... holding great form - their iridesence is always rather breathtaking to me - in white - yet with a hint of soft pink underneath...

i'm hopeful that maybe i'll still have a flower or two by the time christmas actually arrives - but somehow - the name of the plant is deceiving... perhaps it'll provide me with a second breath of life like all of them did last year - with new buds forming again - oh what a wonderous surprise that'd be - making for...
