Temperatures rising

Warm air from the Atlantic is finally making its presence felt again. Snow on the birch branches has melted and drips into the slush below.

When I was taking this shot (standing in my slushy garden in my baffies), waiting for the shutter to release, an adult fox emerged from the bushes about a metre away from me. "Nice blip!", it said and ran off into the shadows next door.
