Lake District - day 2

The forecast was for very wet weather today - however it turned out to be better than expected. We decided to head off to Manesty Woods where we would get shelter from the trees, and we were lucky and had a mostly dry morning where we got some great photos of the magnificent autumn colours. At about midday we even had patches of blue sky - see extra of Otter Island - before it started raining.

We continued photographing in the rain for a couple of hours before calling it a day and heading off to a nearby tea shop for some well deserved teas and coffees before heading back to LPH.

The evening critique sessions are so useful and it is great seeing everyone else's photos. However all that fresh air has made me very tired and I must now get to sleep.
