Highland Wildlife Park

Wild weather drive to Aviemore for some polar bear cub, wildcat kittens, snow leopard and snow monkey action to name but a few. I've got a huge soft spot in my heart for the Highland Wildlife Park, from childhood visits to my kids love of it now. Dave could maybe see it far enough though...but watching a baby polar bear play wrestle his mum in water before going off to loll about in some heather for a back scratch is pretty cool. And we couldn't tear Dave away from the wolves, who were politicking all over their forest. Dark and stormy drive home, autumn at its most feisty.

Sam's latest chapter heading was born today, "Oh, the audacity of a llama".
