Chrysanthemum

I went for my follow up orthopaedic appointment on Monday, and then went up to the office to spend some time testing the upgrade of our computer system.

L flabbergasted me by bringing this gift when she came to chat in the latter part of the afternoon.  It was totally unexpected, and is a lovely cheerful plant.

We've displayed it in the study, because that's where we spend a good deal of our time.

Today was my first day back at work on the shop floor after my latest op.  I'm only doing half days for the moment, and it was, in fact, a relatively easy morning, but I was glad to get back to my office at lunch time.
