Blue

Had a lovely morning volunteering for Te Kakano Aotearoa Trust, which organises a community based native plant nursery. Volunteers help at the nursery and also at planting sessions. There is evidence of their work all around the lakeside and different Wanaka walking tracks. Today we weeded different native plants that are in pots, and when they are bigger, they will be taken out into the wider environment.
Afterwards, I met a friend for lunch and snapped this blue flowering bush on the way home. I can’t believe I didn’t take a photo of the hard working volunteers this morning! I will next week.
