My escape to the Borderlands went well. 

Trains (all four) on time. The meeting took 2 hours, but lots of progress was made. Afterwards I had a good wee lunch in Lockerbie before the 2:30pm train north. 

On the way south I had 30 minutes between trains in Edinburgh - just enough time to visit one of my favourite cafes for a bit of indulgence to keep my energy levels up. Blipped...
