We will remember them

I was very surprised to see that there were still some wild poppies growing in the walled garden of The House for an Art Lover. This particular Poppy has just burst from its casing.

When I collected the dogs I noticed that they were both wearing poppies .... it was much harder than I thought to get the poppies into the photo. When the dogs sat on the benches their large floppy ears fell over the poppies so I had to photo them while they were on the move and the poppies at the back of their necks. It was easier photographing  the gulls yesterday!
