Red hot......

Kniphofia, also called tritoma, red hot poker, torch lily, knofflers or poker plant, is a genus of perennial flowering plants in the family Asphodelaceae, first described as a genus in 1794. It is native to Africa. (As says Wikipedia)


Flowering in the garden like little rockets and my November 5th picture. We have heard lots of fireworks going off around us but didn't get to any big displays this year. 

A much needed work out at the gym this morning; for the body and mind. Then off to do our Monday after school stint with O & S. Sophia has a tutor now on a Monday so our playtime is rather reduced, but we pack a lot into the little time we do have. Mum and Dad went to her Parents' Consultation in the early evening, while we were still there. No problems to report....of course not!
