A’s thumb didn’t look any better today and he’s slept really badly, so off we trotted to sick kids to get it checked over.
X-rays number 20 and 21 confirmed a hairline fracture on the top joint.
So now he has this funky splint to wear until it heals. Probably a couple of weeks, which is pleasingly short - I had feared a month or more.
