Mum’s Gold Bunny rose

Mum put a cutting from this rose on the window sill and forgot about it ( she had poor eyesight) until it grew roots. It now lives at my house and is covered with flowers. Mum passed away 3 years ago today so it’s nice to remember her this way.

The Melbourne cup is run today, I saw the last half of the race. It poured in Melbourne this morning and flooded the railway station, some people had to walk a long way in their cup day fine clothes and high heels.
