Spitfire Mk1a

I briefly pointed my phone camera at the fireworks this evening - but there was a large floodlight nearby and safe to say it was not going to be possible to take any decent photos. I think I speak for Matthew in saying the fireworks were excellent. And he came up with not one but two bits of light-up tat - one a present from us and the other bought with his own pocket money (a largely semi fictional concept at the moment rather than a actual regular payment).

Anyway in lieu of fireworks here is mummy's first airfix kit. Bought sufficiently long enough ago that I had to buy new glue :) I may have cursed a bit (a lot) at the decals - but I'm pretty pleased with it overall!
