standing on a cliff in the rain

I've had jury service for the last week and although a number of people I spoke to beforehand said it's fun, it really isn't if you get the sort of case I did. I'm sure that the correct thing was done by the law but to send someone to prison in front of their parents and alter the rest of their lives is not a very nice experience and tears a little of your soul away. I have no idea how judges can cope doing this on a daily basis.

The only cure I could think of was to stand in my favorite place for a while, despite the wind and rain. This is such a special place I already feel partly restored.
