Nearly!!!!!

This Police van was parked out the back of our house this morning. Thought they had finally come for me!

Policeman: "Have you seen a mad old woman round here picking up leaves & talking to herself?"

Me: putting on my best innocent face "No officer I haven't seen anyone like that around here!"

Phew!!!! That was a close call ...... they nearly got me! Good job I wasn't out there hunting for leaves today!!! :-)

Had a visit this morning from two very nice young men ...... they were surveying the house for solar panels. It is covered by a grant .... we get to use the electricity produced ....... but not to benefit from any excess sold back to the National Grid. But .... they are fitted free!

Apparently we will have 8 panels as we have a 'clear roof' ..... whereas most properties can only have 6 ....... so definitely a 'win win' situation! Bring it on!

Horrid grey day but at least we have not had much rain .... just a bit of drizzle. But we have been very lucky round here as we have not had any flooding. Do hope all those affected are ok.
