Riverside, Stirling.

After the early rain , we took Chloe down the canal for a good walk then later we stopped off at Cambuskenneth for another stroll.
It is not that long ago that Stirling was a sea-port. Just a little downstream, behind me, the riverbank was lined with wharves, warehouses and merchants houses. However, the days of the small coastal trade vessels seems to be long gone. Shame really.
