Too far!

We are looking after Roxy for a couple of days and she 's not as young and full of energy as she used to be.   I took her for a walk in the dog walking area this afternoon.  I turned from one of the side tracks onto a main track and started following a lady not too far ahead. Then I realised Roxy wasn't behind me.   She couldn't be very far away. There she was around another corner patiently waiting on the path which lead directly back to the car with a look that said.  That way's too far - let's go home, and we did.
