Torii Torii Torii

Ooh, I forgot we bought this as a memento .... aah... happy days... so no blips came my way so I had to make one on the post at the top of the stairs... we went to see the film "The Hate U Give" tonight and despite knowing it was good, wasn't what I had expected, but we loved it. It was published as a young adult novel in 2017 so was quick to make into the cinema! It follows a 16 year black girl who witnessed her friend being shot after being stopped by the police, and how she deals with that. I had expected it to be more targeted at the "younger" viewer but not at all, acceptable levels of rap music and street dialogue meant we were there all the way!

Attic Alert, Attic Alert, as confidently predicted yesterday, the slopey roof walls are now insulated, I repeat, the slopey blah blah are now blahed. An actual bit is completed. There are more bits to do. More bits are close to being finished too. Join me at a future date in the future to hear what those bits are.

PS. Jess (the cat) joined me on my desk in front on my monitor tonight as I type this, she likes company but rarely ventures upstairs... it's Molly's domain, so I think I may try and make it more permanent for her.... gonna be hairs in my mouse though!
