Great Friends

Our very last day in NZ could not have been more perfect. After running last bit of errands we went swimming at a friend's house, and had a picnic dinner at Victoria Park with two other families. We shared a fantastic feast of cold chicken, yummy bread, cheeses, chips and guacamole, and pizza, washing it all down with bubbly and wine. We let the kids run wild and climb the trees, playing cricket and throwing the rugby ball around. We stayed until the gates nearly closed us in for the night, but not before we took advantage of the setting sun's lighting and photographing pictures of everyone in every combonation possible.

Hillary & Lawrence, Adam & Hannah featured above have become fantastic friends and we will sorely miss them. I'm hopeful though that emails, a bit of Skyping and a visit from year to year will keep our friendship going.

I'm so grateful, and I'm a better person, for knowing them.
