I've a poorly ear and happen to be nearly completely deaf in the other! It has driven me a bit bonkers!
I was annoyed to scrap plans to head to uni, too.
A lovely friend popped in during the afternoon and cheered me up with the gift of a Starbucks' caramel macciato! Our conversation was rather muffled and it took a bit of lip reading but we got there!
TV with subtitles has been a reasonable distraction this evening too.
