Pride of Britain
The Aerospace Museum in Filton (Bristol) is terrific and fills one with pride. Its displays take you back to 1905 at the beginning of the aircraft industry in Bristol. I can now imagine what it took to produce the aircraft my father flew in WW1 on submarine reconnaissance, with just a pistol to defend himself and grenades to drop. The extra is the cockpit of Concorde filled with switches and lights.
