Sunday lunch

 
So, what’s so special about this photo of a typical Sunday lunch in a local pub?
 
Well it’s the first time we have been out for a meal  following my knee replacement so it’s a time for a quiet celebration . At last I am beginning to feel that my life is getting back to some kind of normality despite the long ( and painful!) rehab.
 
 
Shocked to read that the director of Glasgow School of Art, Prof Tom Inns has resigned.
 
More shocking still is the story in The Times that under his watch a temporary office and kitchen had been installed in the east end of the Glasgow School of art building after the first fire destroyed part of the building.
 This is strictly against planning regulations and it may well invalidate the fire insurance.
 
The second fire, which totally demolished the Art School, started in the east end of the building, Professor Inns told staff.
