Grey Day

A gloomy day, and despite a good showing of garden birds, the light was so poor, it was impossible to get any decent shots - even when a Wren perched out in the open. Eventually this Grey Heron arrived to check out the local ponds, but even he stood behind the damson tree next door. Looks like we are in for a dull few days after last week's lovely bright clear weather.
