Doing well

I have been home after my hospital visit for about 5 days. 2 weeks ago I felt like death warmed up. But here I am able to walk part way round Kilmardinny Loch.
My progress since the bypass operation has been quite remarkable. And though my legs still ache a lot and though I have a lot of work to do to regain fitness, I am stunned that I am doing so well.
By the end of the week I'll be getting right round the loch (3/4 mile). By the end of the month I hope to be well enough to travel to Edinburgh to attend the SCA prize giving and pick up with my son our trophy as Scottish doubles croquet champions.
