Canal walk

Canal walk with 2 x 3 year olds, little legs and 2 miles of rocky paths, hmmm!

We went on an adventure this morning with R’s little friend from ballet and her mum. The girls did really well walking along the canal a, picking up sticks and spotting ducks and locks. We covered 2 miles walking all the way to the Discovery centre.

We weren’t aiming for there though so we got a lift along to the Pineapple Cafe where we’d promised the girls there would be cake. There was cake and lots of it!! Tiffin, choc beetroot cake and salted caramel. We treated ourselves, had a nice chat and then headed home for more tea!!

Lovely bit of fresh air, tired legs and good cake/chat!
