light at the end of the tunnel

It's amazing just how little snow you need to spoil your plans...
I walked into town to buy Pirate accessories for the kids' school Pirates Disco...

4 charity shops later, I have a shirt, a bandanna, some ludicrous hoop earrings and some fairy wings (yep, pirates should not loose touch with their feminine side)

Then... Disco postponed! I mean, would Long John Silver let a little of the white stuff keep him off the dance floor?
