Lena's Birthday Cake

A windy day, and rained all morning.  It cleared up for a while in the afternoon, but more rain tonight.

My Saturday on at the museum, and a quiet morning to start the day.  It picked up in the afternoon.  When I arrived home, there was a house full of guests.  Mam, dad, Elise still here, Madeline and Celia over for a cuppa.  Been down to bro Jonny's this evening, and then off to help with a Macmillan Nurse fundraiser tonight, organised by Clive from my squad.  

Yesterday was my youngest niece Lena's birthday, she turned eight!  Tonight's evening party was for us oldies to gather and spoil her with gifts.  The main event for her was blowing out the candles, to her choice of cake, peanut butter and banana cake.  Pictured here with big sis Michaela.  Time soon flies and they quickly grow up.  Taken at Bigton.
