The birthday boy
The Dizzle’s 22nd Birthday. Rather lovely in that it was about people and laughter and connection … there were a few “things”, cards, bottles of whisky, and a rather lovely cake from Conditori and Cooke … But it was mainly just a people day. Mr G was rather lovely, Strider was in top form and Mystic Em was, as ever, serene and smiling. As for TSM … what a brilliant mother … we did the usual reminisce about caesarians and trauma from 22 years ago … but it’s mostly a tale of love. There never was a better Ima.
Too much eating and drinking of course. Breakfast was a cracker. Lots of team work and fab food.
Had a very very late lunch in The Admiralty after rooftop cocktails at The Trafalgar.. The Submarine Corps was out in force as there were memorials taking place in London. Managed to get a few of them to pose (see extras). Probably one of the hardest of service jobs, I couldn’t do it.
TSM and I left the young bloods to it and came home early evening. They were heading off for a world war 2 drinking experience at The Bletchley but I don’t do late nights these days.
Good day.
