Flower Market in Hong Kong
This coming Sunday is our church's big Christmas production and luncheon where congregation and visitors enjoy a special service and share in a very festive feast. I'm part of the decoration committee as well as worship and some of us from the decoration committee scouted the Flower Market to buy mini poinsettias for table decorations and get some new ideas.
The Flower Market is a huge tourist attraction here and there is a huge variety of flowers and plants. They are also much cheaper than other parts of HK, but you have to carry it all back with you, well those of us who don't have cars, at least:(
It's always a treat going and today it was a first time for one on the ladies, her eyes were popping out of her head. I particularly love the variety of orchids ...they are always beautiful.
It was a treat to see the purple mini (how cute is it, would have loved to see who drove it!!!), couldn't help taking the pic! One of my favourite Christmas shops is also there, they were sadly out of golden candles. That bauble is a cloisonné one!
A good day out despite the wet cold weather.
