I saw a kingfisher! Can you?

A nice leisurely get up. As it was a grey overcast day I decided to just walk along the canal. I didn't go my usual way round I did the road bit first. I watched some swans for a while , then chatted to a fisherman and slowly walked on. I had been told there were kingfishers by the canal so I kept looking out for them . I spotted the blue in the top left photo and was convinced it was a kingfisher until I saw it on the screen and it's a bottle!!! Further along I saw blue again and it was a kingfisher!! It decided to fly bottom left shot!! it then settled and I was really lucky to spot it. The photos aren't brilliant as I was too far away and using the Panasonic. I definitely will go back with a better telephoto lens and hopefully get a better photo. I am so delighted to actually see the bird, they really are tiny. I had to ring Chris who was with Julie and both demanded photographic proof. It's a standing joke between us about seeing a kingfisher.
