Figgate Park and Fireworks
Ann is half way through her 6 week fitness regime and to be honest....................... she hasn't noticed any difference at all apart it from making her extremely tired! She is trying to swim 60 lengths a day and has averaged 4 fitness classes a week so far.
Today she said, 'Molly, I'm not going to 'Juvenate' today. The pool was full of squealy brats last Saturday and it was not enjoyable. I am going to rest today.' At which point she lay down on the sofa and watched two and a half hours of Coronation Street. #sheknowshowtolive
This afternoon, we went to Asda. I had to wait in the car. That was a bit boring. And then guess where I went?......................... Figgate Park. Yay!
Figgate Park is a great place for a little collie. As soon as I got out of the car I got let off my lead to zoom about and splish, splash, splosh in the burn. I LOVE it! There were loads of other doggies to play with and none of their owners could believe that I was 14 years old. I was in zoomie, supersonic, bionic mode today. I even got to chase a few swans in the little loch. Yay!
…..........And do you know what has just happened?....................... Ann has had a text from friends, who are at a really nice restaurant round the corner from us, asking if she wants to join them. Ann has said 'NO' because there are some really loud fireworks going off. She's worried that the fireworks will frighten me. But do you know what?........................... I'm so deaf these days that I can't even hear the fireworks?!
….........But isn't that nice of Ann...................... She's staying in on a Saturday night to make sure I'm not frightened??!!
