Thinking About It.

My daughter is doing her Christmas shopping today. She goes out with her friend Lou, each year a to different city (it's Southhampton this year, apparently) and does the lot, all in one day. We're given plenty of warning, so we can put in any requests in good time. The very idea makes me feel weak.

However, TM and I thought we should perhaps make a little start too - and it was raining, so the great outdoors wasn't calling.  We went to our favourite bookshop, had coffee and cake, a good browse, and a nice sit-down in their comfortable sofas.  

On the one-for-you-and-one-for-me principal, I bought a present (political cartoons) and a little book about famous photographers, in the hope I might pick up a few tips.

At this rate I will finish sometime in February ....
