HIGH AS A KITE

There was a bit of kite-surfing going on at Teesmouth this afternoon - hardy souls. As you can see, the sun was shining further south on Saltburn, Redcar and the North Yorkshire coast, but we'd lost it by then and a very brisk wind was getting up. Extra shows the view when I turned 90 degrees to the right - at risk of me and the camera being sand-blasted.

I bought something today and the shop-owner said "One pound 14 shillings" and I surprised myself and impressed him by giving him the right money straight away without thinking about it. Once learned some things never seem to go.
