Dotting the i's and crossing the t's.

Printer: Excellent, that's all the i's dotted and t's crossed on the printing contract for the Saltire Fellowship programme.

Administrator: Hang on just a second, dotted i's AND crossed t's, isn't that a bit extravagant?

Printer: Well sir, most of our customers do choose that option...

Administrator: Not us, we're very cost concious and there's a global recession. We want our contract without dotted i's please, and all of our printing for that matter. How much discount would we get for that?

Printer: I could probably give you 5%?

Administrator: Done!

Having had to read this last night, I can say that It is surprisngly hard to read a document with no dotted i's. My brain was just constantly focussed on the missing dots and couldn't see the words at all.

It was driving me dotty......
